Three Leaves

Three_Leaves

Just another close up of some leaves but I really liked this one. The colors came out really vibrant and the Canon 100mm macro lens does such a killer job at blurring out the background. When shooting shots like this I always keep the cameras focus system on Servo. This never locks the focus until you press the shutter. This helps keep the subject of the photo in sharp focus even if the subject is moving and, when shooting macros any little movement is over exaggerated. Servo keeps adjusting the focus for whatever is under whatever focus point you have selected.

The photo was imported into Lightroom 2.2. Some minor color and exposure settings where applied with a little vignette added to draw more attention to the leaves.
