Frog Pond

Falls_Lake_0974 I really thought this was a cool looking group of flowers on a little frog pond at Blue Jay Point park in Raleigh. This was taken with Canon 40d with the 28-135mm is lens. If anyone knows the name of this plant I would love to know what it is. I love the composition on this with the flower on the right being in sharp focus and it's twin in the background out of focus.

Had to get down and dirty to get this shot. Sometimes  the best shots are some of the hardest to get. You have to be willing do a little crawling in the dirt or in this case pond muck. You do what you gotta do.

Peace all.

I like the close-ups like this one and of flowers. I wish I could do that but I am not sure if I would be good at it even with help.Great pictures , though.

Thanks. I had to get pretty down and dirty to get this shot. But was well worth it.
